St. John Chrysostom

“Enter into the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed again to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. . . . Did you commit sin? Enter the Church, repent for your sin, for here is the physician, not the judge. Here one is not investigated; one receives remission of sins.”

Prescient Trump…

From the outset of Donald Trump’s entry into the world of politics he espoused a series of key tenets around what he called his “America-First” objectives:
  1. The U.S. needed to have control over our borders, and a greater ability to control who was migrating to the United States.  A shift toward stopping ‘illegal’ migration.
  2. The U.S. needed to stop the manufacture of goods overseas and return critical manufacturing back to the United States.  A return to economic independence.
  3. The U.S. needed to decouple from an over-reliance on Chinese industrial and consumer products.  China viewed as a geopolitical and economic risk.

Render Plantation 15380 Roosevelt Hwy , Greenville , GA | Meriwether County, GA

Render Plantation was founded in 1832 when James Render moved from Wilkes County, Georgia to Meriwether County. Here he founded a plantation that eventually grew to nearly 2,000 acres. The plantation produced cotton, corn, wheat, oats, and two varieties of potato. A dairy located on the property produced milk and butter. James Render proved to be a prudent farmer and businessman. His farm survived the upheaval of the Civil War and reconstruction, lasting well into the 20th century. In fact, the plantation house and some of the land remained in the Render family until the 1960s.
