Mike Pence in Dallas as Gov. Abbott says COVID-19 has taken 'very dangerous turn in Texas'

“What we are seeing here is a increased rate of hospitalization of 20-40 year olds … We know that’s the primary asymptomatic group,” she said, adding that those serious cases in that age group have underlying health conditions like diabetes or obesity.
She said that Dallas County “s more steady,” while cases are spiking in Bexar and Harris counties. As Birx was speaking, Dallas County reported another record in cases on Sunday — 570 — and one death.

Garlic Scapes (~3.5 lbs)

Regular
The flowering stems of the garlic plant, scapes are removed a few weeks before harvest each summer in order to send more energy to the growing garlic bulb. In French cuisine, scapes are often grilled or broiled as a side dish or sautéed and added to soups and stir fries. In our own family, pickled scapes have been a huge hit. We also blanch and then freeze quart bags of scapes to use throughout the winter. If you are new to scapes, do a quick internet search. There are lots of great ideas out there! Since we only offer scapes for a few weeks each summer, now is definitely the time to order. $24 gets you a filled USPS "regional rate box b," approximately 1 1/2 lbs. SOCIAL MEDIA President Trump tweets antifa conspiracy theory that originated on anonymous blog

Rouz’s report about Gugino cites an article from Conservative Treehouse, a far-right blog that frequently posts conspiracy theories. The blog post claims without evidence that Gugino is a “75-year-old professional agitator and Antifa provocateur” who “was attempting to capture the radio communications signature of Buffalo police officers.” The Conservative Treehouse post is written by a user named “Sundance,” who cites their own Twitter thread as proof of the conspiracy theory.

Margaret Sanger

“How are we to breed a race of human thoroughbreds unless we follow the same plan? We must make this country into a garden of children instead of a disorderly back lot overrun with human weeds.” (1924)
Starting in 1916, Sanger’s clinics at first were aimed mainly at poor immigrant women. The first clinic was in a neighborhood “populated largely by Italians and Eastern European Jews,” according to the 2010 book “Birth Control on Main Street,” by Cathy Moran Hajo. Sanger did not open a Harlem clinic until the 1930s, even though infant mortality rates there were similar....
Sanger wrote in a 1939 letter. “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”
