Most secure elections ever

As a former poll watcher and current candidate who has been campaigning for four months, I reserve the right to know the voted ballots are protected by a licensed peace officer and live-streamed on camera for security under TEC Section 127.1232 and 129.051.

I responded to these thoughtful emails from concerned poll watchers and an alternate judge by asking the County to address this issue immediately.
Email received Wednesday, June 15
Good morning, xxxxxxxxx,
We are writing to you again to respectfully ask for a mandamus action (Texas Election Code Section 31.005(c)) to cause Dallas County to come into compliance with TEC Section 127.1232 and TEC Section 129.051.
Last night, the Early Voting USB drives were brought back to Central Counting at the close of Early Voting. The voted paper ballots were brought into the warehouse, not locked up, no licensed peace officer was there to guard the voted ballots and as of last night and into this morning, none of the livestream cameras appeared to be working. It looks like the cameras are back up now, but the EV paper ballots don’t appear to be in the warehouse camera view, nor is there a licensed peace officer visible guarding the ballots. Please see warehouse photo below from last night (taken by the Alternate Judge) – Early Voting paper ballot boxes are in the foreground.
Additionally, the back-up USB drives, also containing voted ballots, were left in the polling locations in the DS200s and NOT returned to Central Count. This is also a potential violation of TEC Section 127.1232, since there is likely no licensed peace officer guarding the voted ballots and the polling locations containing the back-up drives’ voted ballots are not being livestreamed either. Additionally, the judges who were returning their primary USB drives last night told the Alternate Judge that they were instructed by the Elections Department to leave the back-up drive in the DS200s at the polling location. Therefore, the chain of custody on these drives is likely also broken, a potential violation of TEC Section 129.051.
We are requesting that the Secretary of State’s office act immediately to correct these risks to our voted ballots and protect Dallas County’s voters’ votes from potential dilution (Texas Penal Code Section 33.05), which could potentially successfully occur through the manipulation of the election’s back-up records, such that election fraud could never be successfully proven in either a recount or an election contest in the absence of true and correct back-up records.
We again respectfully request your immediate assistance to protect Dallas County election results from risk of dilution through risk of tampering with the election’s back-up records.
Xxxxxxxxxx

Email received today at 2:00 pm:
Hello again, xxxxxxxxxx,
Here is an update from Central Count as of yesterday, July 17, 2022, around 12 noon.
The voted, Early Voting back-up ballots were again observed in the warehouse with no licensed peace officer guarding them.
Today, once again, the warehouse camera appeared to not be working, while the other cameras have been working and livestreaming successfully.
The election’s back-up, paper audit trail must be protected in accordance with Texas election law, for both candidates and voters to be able to trust the outcome of Dallas County elections.
Therefore, we again renew our request that Dallas County come into compliance with TEC Section 127.1232 through a mandamus action by the Texas Secretary of State.
Thank you in advance for working to fix this repeated issue,
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

scientific dictatorship

"Under a scientific dictatorship...most men and women will grow up to love their servitude and will never dream of revolution.... There seems to be no good reason why a thoroughly scientific dictatorship should ever be overthrown." – Aldous Huxley

The War in Ukraine May Be Impossible to Stop. And the U.S. Deserves Much of the Blame

The current conflict is rooted in a November 10, 2021 agreement, wherein the US and Ukraine signed a “charter on strategic partnership” calling for Ukraine to join NATO, condemning “ongoing Russian aggression” and affirming an “unwavering commitment” to restoring Crimea into Ukraine. Not surprisingly, Russia saw as the final capstone on a long-planned hostile strategic effort, because since 2018, NATO has been arming Ukraine “to the teeth” with U.S.-built Javelin antitank missiles, Czech artillery, Turkish Bayraktar drones, and lots of other NATO-interoperable weaponry.

That US-Ukraine charter caused Russia to legitimately fear that NATO was about to help Ukraine invade the Crimea. It’s not just me or the author saying it. The agreement “convinced Russia that it must attack or be attacked,” wrote Henri Guaino, a former top adviser to Nicolas Sarkozy, in Le Figaro this month. “It is the ineluctable process of 1914 in all its terrifying purity.”
