Formerly part of an estate called TABLE ROCK which was built for William Pierson Hamilton and his wife Juliet Pierpont Morgan, the daughter of the great financier J. Pierpont Morgan. William was the great-grandson of Alexander Hamilton, the US Statesman and the first Secretary of the Treasury.
